David has had a successful career in both the private and public sector, working for organisations that create, use or promote innovation and inventiveness. With over 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry — including roles for Microsoft in New Zealand and across Asia — he is also experienced in start-up businesses across a variety of industries. David is an author, an accomplished public speaker and communicator, and an award-winning radio and TV actor. In his current role as General Manager at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, he is responsible for programmes that help New Zealand businesses grow internationally.
Jon Bridges
Co-Author · Writer, Presenter & Producer
Jon is a well-known writer, TV presenter and producer in New Zealand, with credits including IceTV, Who Ate All the Pies and the panel show Would I Lie to You? For four years he was the producer of 7 Days, New Zealand’s most successful TV comedy show. A sought-after public speaker and writer, Jon’s endearing curiosity, natural enthusiasm and fascination with the extraordinary are irresistible. He has an easy affinity with people and an intelligent, witty approach to life. His regular column in the Listener, his popular blog “We’re Building a House” on stuff.co.nz, and his book on cycling in New Zealand, Easy Rider, have further cemented his reputation as an author of note.
